MOOO 10X10 and 4X15

This is linoleum print and india ink on wood and masonite.  For the square piece, I made two cow stamps that are inverses of each other.  I chose red and white because of how dramatic it is in contrast to the monotony of cows.  For the long skinny one, I chose blue, grey and white because it seemed like a color scheme that would be associated with milk maids.  I've continued to use india ink in my pieces because I like how dramatically black it gets.

Gold Hill 10X10
This piece is ink and watercolor on water color paper.  It is done off of a photo I took of the burned area above gold hill.  I loved how the yellow grass contrasted with the black, dead trees.  I had a fun time experimenting with texture in the trees and the grass.
