Starcrossed 18''X24''
I did this piece in my mixed media painting class at SCAD summer seminars.  It is water color and acrylic on water color paper and india ink and gold leaf on canvas and collage.

Newbury Neck 10''X18''
This is a slightly abstracted depiction of Maine on a foggy day done in water color and india ink on water color paper.  I wanted to use vibrant yet muted colors to show how beautiful Maine is.
Marvin's Monday Grooves 5''X7''
I wanted to experiment with the comic format.  I decided to do something silly, random, and brightly colored.  "Marvin's Monday Grooves" is supposed to be fun and happy.

Abstract 1 5''X5'' 5''X5'' & 4''X4''
This was my experiment with abstract for the summer.  I achieved this look with acrylic and salt on canvas.  I like how the blue and yellow interact with each other.
Goldfish 3''X5''
I turned to watercolor after doing a lot of black and white work.  I wanted to do something bright and colorful!
Macchu Picchu 5''X7''
This piece was made from a quick sketch I did while in Macchu Picchu this summer.  It is also done in india ink on water color paper.  This piece excludes the ruins of Macchu Picchu and only includes the landscape.  I was hoping to capture some of the beauty of Macchu Picchu with texture.
Ollantaytambo 5''X5''
This piece was inspired by the village that I did my home stay in in Peru this summer.  I used India Ink on wood.  I wanted to achieve a simplistic look with lots of texture to show the simple beauty of Ollantaytambo, Peru.

The Wave 5''X7''

At the beginning of the summer I started to use India Ink as a media.  I love how pigmented and versatile it is.  To achieve this texture I used water and the Indio Ink.  This was inspired by Japanese art.
